This webinar on " Applying GRB for adequate and inclusive planning and budgeting" is an online session in English of the 2018 GRB Moderated Training by the UN Women Training Centre. During this presentation, Shrijna Dixon (Women Peace & Security Programme Consultant, UN Women Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific) shows examples where GRB has been applied sectorally to generate evidence on how public policies, although with the goal of empowering women, have not impacted women affirmatively due to lacking ways of mainstreaming gender in their design, planning and budgeting. These examples are of programmes/policies designed to benefit the most marginalised women and girls from India – Schedule Tribes, women farmers and women with disabilities.
